We’re Nellie and Faith, two friends who believe that technology should connect us, not separate us.

Inspired by a recent exchange where Faith swapped her photography services for a new fence, we started this project as a way to facilitate trades, build community, and cut out greedy tech companies who sell our data and demand 15-20% of our hard-earned cash per transaction (cough cough TaskRabbit).

At the Digital Commune, We believe everyone has something to offer.

Are you a houseplant whisperer? Do your friends ask you for help writing their dating profiles? Or maybe you’re just weirdly good at identifying exactly where that weird noise is coming from in your friend’s car?
